Christi + Joseph | Adventurous Engagement session on the Roanoke Virginia Mountains

This session was a combination of some of our favorite things; tall grasses, mountainous backdrops, beautiful fall colors and of course beautiful people who are so in love with each other. When we first spoke to Christi she knew exactly what she wanted out of the shoot. and as she bounced her ideas off of us, it was like music to our ears and we couldn't be happier that they chose us to be their visual storytellers! Due to the fact that Roanoke VA is so far from where we live, Christi promised to be our eyes as she and Joseph scout out locations for their shoot. We normally prefer to choose locations for our clients but since Christi's vision for the shoot was everything we envisioned, we trusted them to find the perfect location, and oh my goodness did they? The pictures we saw on google did the location no justice. Talk about a breathtaking view!

We arrived at the location of the session a couple hours before it was supposed to start and once we pulled up to the location we knew immediately that this was the session we wanted to start our cinematography career with. So we whipped out our mono-pod and second camera and started filming.  We started the session in the meadows, where the beautiful tall grass and end of day sunlight really set the mood for this session. As the evening progressed we took a quick hike up the mountain and got some beautiful end of light shots. The leveled terrace, mountainous backdrop, and this beautiful couple wrapped in a blanket all made for beautiful serene photos. Thank you Christi and Joseph for being such beautiful, and creative people. It seriously was a pleasure photographing and videoing you both! We seriously cant wait to photograph your wedding!!
