St. Francis Hall Wedding | Drew + Taylor | Washington DC wedding photographer

It was a pleasure photographing this beautiful couple at St. Francis Hall in Washington DC! These two were high school sweethearts! :) The wedding day was filled with love and joy! His brother was his Best Man, but couldn’t make to the wedding because he was deployed. So a unique thing that they did, was to make a cut out board of him!! hahah so clever right? ;) Also what a beautiful venue to get married in!

Tyler & Stephanie got married on Friday ( May 10th, 2019) at the beautiful Historic London town in Annapolis Maryland. Their day started out promising with sunshine as we photographed Stephanie and Tyler’s getting ready in their quaint AirBnBs. While getting ready Stephanie shared with us how she isn’t trying to think about the weather forecast, mostly because thunderstorms and scattered showers were all in the prediction for Friday’s weather. We all assured her that we prayed, and no matter what, all will go well and her day will be nothing short of perfect. Which, when you look at these photos, you can tell that it was!

Although literally minutes before the ceremony was to start, the thick rain clouds rolled in and it began to pour, Stephanie & Tyler took the rain as showers of blessing and enjoyed their ceremony like the champs they are. Also during their vows Tyler spoke in her language and it was the sweetest thing ever!

Being the blessed people these two are, a few minutes before their ceremony was over, it stopped raining and the most beautiful light to photograph in, is what we were given. We made the most of it as the light remained for us to photograph their family, just married photos, as well as bridal party photos! We can go into all the amazing details of the day, but honestly this blog wouldn’t be enough. So to cut a long story short, Stephanie and Tyler’s day was nothing short of AMAZING and if you weren’t there to witness this vibrant, young, fun-loving, party-thumping, room-shaking, couple’s love, then we are sad to say that you definitely missed out. But hopefully this blog gives you a little insight. haha ;)

From the moment Megan contacted us to photograph her and her Hubby's wedding photos in Strong Mansion Maryland, we were extremely excited! Although we have done shoots like this before, we were so excited because we were just thinking how we havent had one this year. It rained cats and dogs on this gorgeous couple's wedding day, and they unfortunately were unable to get the wedding portraits they wanted with their previous photographer. She explained what exactly she was looking for and was so sweet through out our emails back and forth! We kept counting down the days for this shoot, and almost got discouraged when we checked the weather forecast and saw that it was to rain AGAIN on their session date. .

We could tell Megan was pretty bummed by this, but we encouraged her to keep hope alive!  We were still about a week and half out so the weather could change, and even if it didnt we can always reschedule. But boy are we glad we waited before we rescheduled, because the weather, sun rays and everything was just PERFECT! We couldnt have asked for a better evening and a better couple to photograph!

They were high school sweethearts and their schools prom king and queen, been together for 12 years and have been married for a month and few days now, yet they are still over each other like honeymooners! They honestly look like they belong in a fairy tale story book with Strong Mansion as their castle and Sugarloaf Mountain as the kingdom they rule, hahaha!

We are firm believers in the saying "everything happens for a reason" and cant imagine not meeting these two and taking these images. We are so thankful to the rain that fell on their wedding day, because if it didn't , we wouldn't have met this amazingly sweet and stunning couple! We know we say this for every couple, but truly God has blessed us with amazing couples that make our "job" SO EASY!

We wish a Happily Ever After to our real life Disney Prince & Princess! haha ;)

Joseph + Sterling| Washington DC Wedding photographer| Mason and Rook Hotel Wedding Photos | War Memorial Wedding Photos

You've probably come across this beautiful couple's engagement session blog in rock creek park already. Therefore its already been established that this couple is not only beautiful but adorably sweet with one another (If you haven't read their engagement blog yet, you're definitely missing out, but no worries we got you covered and you can view it first by clicking  this link:). But please believe us when we say that nothing could have prepared us for the emotion filled, love centered, laidback wedding day these two had.

Remember in the engagement blog when we said Sterling's approach to her wedding was hitting the easy-button on her wedding day. Their entire wedding day felt just like that, in the best way possible! We cant describe how relaxed we felt. Their wedding day started with sterling and her closet friends getting ready with her in her suite at the Kimpton Mason & Rook Hotel. When we opened the door to Sterling's suite we immediately felt all the good and chilled vibes coming our way. Maybe it was the champagne or the good vibes music they had playing, but whatever it was, helped set the tone for the day. While I (Anna) was photographing the bride and her friends toasting to the good life and getting ready, Liz was at Joseph's apartment photographing him and his closest friends helping him get ready and pose as the GQ insider he looked like.

When they were done getting ready Sterling met up with Joseph on the top deck where they had their first look.  After the first look everyone headed to the War Memorial in Washington DC for their wedding ceremony, where they along with 100 of their closets friends and family gathered around and witnessed them promise forever to each other. As soon as their ceremony ended, the sun began to set,so we quickly pulled them aside one last time for them enjoy their first sunset as husband and wife together, and it was amazing! We then headed over to Agora Restaurant in Washington dc where they had their epic reception and danced the night away with their loved ones! *Can still hear Macklemore & Ryan Lewis- Can't Hold us-FEAT Ray Dalton* It was an amazing day and we thoroughly enjoyed every single part of it! We hope you enjoy viewing this blog! :)
