Being in the photography industry for over 8 years, there are so many things that we know now, that we wish we had known when we first started as well as throughout the years. When we first started we felt so alone and got so close to giving up within our first few years because we knew nothing and there was no one to teach us. Alot of the photographers we reached out to for help would completely ignore us. We even had one who told us "your images are the worst things I have ever seen, you will never make it, quit while you are ahead and stick to your day job" ( Not kidding, This is an exact quote from one of the photographers we reached out to). After reading that message and crying and consoling ourselves with buckets of ice cream for 3 whole days, we vowed to eachother that when we finally feel like we have this photography business thing figured out, we will help any and all who are willing to learn.
Whether you are a newbie and know absolutely nothing about photography or you are a seasoned veteran, there is something for everyone. We want to teach you how to run a successful and sustainable full-time photography business. You dont have to be a wedding photographer to buy our mentoring sessions. Being that we were portrait & event photographers first, we know alot about different types of photography. From family portraits, to fashion/editorial, newborn, senior portraits, you name it and we most likely have shot it.
As we said above, when we first started, we photographed it all because we had no direction or clear vision of the type of photographers we wanted to be. This almost cost us our business because we were constantly taking on all types of photography jobs/gigs, which eventually caused us to almost burn out and at times lose interest in photography as a whole. Having gone through this is why we want to help you identify, develop and capitalize on your style of photography.
We believe in community over competition, so we don’t ever hold back sharing any “secrets.”

THEN WE WILL TAKE IT OUTDOORS. THIS TIME WILL BE SPENT PHOTOGRAPHING A STYLED COUPLE (for wedding photoghers) OR REAL PEOPLE.
WE WILL SHOOT TOGETHER AND WE WILL BE THERE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE AS WE GO.
WE WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO PULL EMOTION FROM YOUR CLIENTS WHICH WILL HELP YOU TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE YOUR CLIENTS FEEL COMFORTABLE, HOW TO USE LIGHT.
THEN WE WILL REGROUP AND GRAB A COFFEE (OR WHATEVER YOU PREFER) AND A BITE TO EAT.
DURING THE FINAL PARTS OF OUR TIME TOGETHER YOU WILL HAVE TIME TO UNWIND AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.
