What made it even more special is that her parents got married at Strong Mansion also!! It was a pleasure photographing this beautiful couple at St. Francis Hall in Washington DC! These two were high school sweethearts! :) The wedding day was filled with love and joy! His brother was his Best Man, but couldn’t make to the wedding because he was deployed. West Virginia Mountain Wedding photos | Jordan + Amanda | Virginia wedding photographer

Amanda & Jordan’s wedding day in the West Virginia mountains was what dreams are made of & working with them has been a dream as well! From consultation to their wedding day Amanda knew exactly what she wanted and had this calm approach to wedding planning. Maybe because she is an event designer or that she was being distracted by the show “The Bachelorette” (haha we were all so happy to see that we each were avid watchers and predictors of the show. Fun-fact: Jordan has predicted the last 2-3 seasons’ outcomes perfectly), but whatever it was we loved that this beautiful bride kept calm all the way through!

Everything about their wedding was all done by those they love. Their greenhouse like reception venue was built by Amanda’s family, and my God! it is absolutely beautiful there!! They got married inside her childhood church. Her wedding gown was made by her aunt, designs were all done by her and her work colleagues, and so pretty much everything else was made or done by others they love.

Their wedding theme was shades of blue with a touch of gold, and my goodness was this theme perfectly executed! From her bridesmaids dusty blue dresses, to the groomsmen navy blue suits, to the blue & gold accents through out her reception venue.

We honestly can go on forever gushing over how stunning and perfect these two are, or how gorgeous their wedding day was. But our biggest take away from everything, is how in love these two really are and how loved they are by those around them.

Amanda and Jordan we are sure you have heard this a million times, but we will say it again. You two are perfect for each other! it has been such a pleasure being a part of your wedding process & day! We only hope to blessed by more amazing couples like you two! We wish you both nothing but love and laughter throughout your marriage & we pray that God continues to bless and guide you two for the rest of your lives together!

PS. We can’t wait to see if Jordan’s predictions for this years bachelorette was right too! :)

Historic London Town and Gardens Wedding | Annapolis Maryland Photographer| Tyler + Stephanie

Tyler & Stephanie got married on Friday ( May 10th, 2019) at the beautiful Historic London town in Annapolis Maryland. Their day started out promising with sunshine as we photographed Stephanie and Tyler’s getting ready in their quaint AirBnBs. While getting ready Stephanie shared with us how she isn’t trying to think about the weather forecast, mostly because thunderstorms and scattered showers were all in the prediction for Friday’s weather. We all assured her that we prayed, and no matter what, all will go well and her day will be nothing short of perfect. Which, when you look at these photos, you can tell that it was!

Although literally minutes before the ceremony was to start, the thick rain clouds rolled in and it began to pour, Stephanie & Tyler took the rain as showers of blessing and enjoyed their ceremony like the champs they are. Also during their vows Tyler spoke in her language and it was the sweetest thing ever!

Being the blessed people these two are, a few minutes before their ceremony was over, it stopped raining and the most beautiful light to photograph in, is what we were given. We made the most of it as the light remained for us to photograph their family, just married photos, as well as bridal party photos! We can go into all the amazing details of the day, but honestly this blog wouldn’t be enough. So to cut a long story short, Stephanie and Tyler’s day was nothing short of AMAZING and if you weren’t there to witness this vibrant, young, fun-loving, party-thumping, room-shaking, couple’s love, then we are sad to say that you definitely missed out. But hopefully this blog gives you a little insight. haha ;)

Albert + Sara | The Westin Georgetown Wedding | Washington DC Wedding photographer

Albert and Sara’s emotion filled wedding at The Westin Georgetown in Washington D.C has to be one of the weddings we will forever remember. Maybe its because of how emotional Albert was throughout the day, or maybe its how excited, happy, relaxed, and trusting they both were. But whatever it was, made it that you honestly could feel (not just see but truly feel) the love these two have for each other. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family who all added to the joy of their day. This gorgeous couple made us fall in love all over again with small intimate weddings! We couldn’t feel more grateful and blessed that these two chose us to be the storytellers of their day. Congratulations again Albert & Sara!! We pray you two have a fruitful and extremely happy life together!! <3

Oh Also we just wanted to say that The Westin Georgetown in Washington D.C has to be one of THE BEST if not THE best hotel for a wedding in Washington DC. Trust us when we say we have photographed at a number of hotels in Washington D.C and not all of them come close to how amazing The Westin is! Not only is their staff extremely friendly, helpful and personable, but their food is amazing! When we location scouted The Westin and its surrounding areas we instantly fell in love with their courtyard, ballroom and all the various buildings, alleyways, colors and textures surrounding it. It is filled with tons of natural light that we only needed to use our flash at night. It honestly is a natural light photographers dream. haha (we are not getting paid or endorsed for this in anyway, we just felt that it needs to be known haha).
